Throw Food For Animals Mutations: Compare Animal Variants
Quick answer
- Variant matters: Gameplay includes Gold and larger variants of animals.
- Compare the actual catch: Use the displayed income of your version when deciding what belongs in the active team.
A species can have more than one version
Animal variants matter in Throw Food For Animals. Gold animals appear during collection, and a Seahorse with a big size mutation is also shown in progression. A familiar species name therefore does not tell you everything about the catch you have just received.
Keep the label and the displayed income together. This is more useful than treating every new version as identical to the first animal of that species.
Snapshot as ofRead income before replacing a resident
The Ocean examples include ordinary and Gold Mantis Shrimp, as well as a larger Seahorse. Their displayed earnings differ in that run. Compare your own catch with the current team instead of assuming a universal multiplier from the color or size alone.
This distinction matters most when a variant of an older species competes with a newly reached one. Use Equip Best as part of the review, then make collection decisions separately. A stronger earner and a species you want to preserve need not have the same priority.
Keep variant collecting connected to your goal
If you enjoy collecting different appearances, keep that goal without making every catch an income requirement. If the goal is a food upgrade, focus on which variant improves the active team. Both approaches can use the same throwing and training loop.
Do not infer a drop probability, guaranteed mutation recipe or complete variant roster from one example. Pursue a useful animal area and keep worthwhile intermediate catches. Continue with rare animals for the broader hunt or selling animals before clearing variants from inventory.
